2024 Travel Show hosted at COEX attracted 30,000 attendees for 3 days.

A total of about 200 travel companies from 13 countries gathered to promote winter peak season tourism products, with aggressive strategies targeting Korean travelers in Mongolia and India. The Travel Show, which attracted nearly 30,000 visitors over three days last year, will reopen at COEX for three days from the 4th to the 6th. The event will feature participation from about 200 travel companies from 13 countries.

Representatives from Japan, one of the main participating countries, will showcase winter golf attractions in Miyazaki and Fukuoka, as well as Okinawa’s one-month living experience package. Okayama will introduce a trip to experience retro Japan, while Toyama and Ishikawa offer autumn foliage and abundant seafood experiences. Visitors can also explore unique Japanese cities like Nagasaki, known for its Catholic pilgrimage sites.

In addition, Hoshino Resort, with over 70 accommodation facilities in Japan alone, will participate in the Travel Show. They will promote Hokkaido resort facilities centered around Hoshino Resort Tomamu. Special discounts and on-site events will be available for travelers planning a winter trip to Japan.

Domestic travel agency, Norang Pungseon, is preparing a large booth to showcase various travel products at the Travel Mart. They will present package deals to Egypt and Malaysia’s Kota Kinabalu. For those planning Southeast Asian trips to places like Nha Trang in Vietnam and Bangkok in Thailand, visiting the Yeohaengji travel agency booth is recommended.

Furthermore, over 20 specialized travel agencies that have never participated in domestic travel fairs before will set up booths to provide the latest information on travel destinations such as Mongolia, Africa, South America, Alaska, Europe, Southeast Asia, and Japan. They will also offer unique travel products to destinations like Nepal, India, and Madagascar.

For domestic travel enthusiasts, various booths have been set up. Gyeongsangbuk-do will introduce the latest autumn travel destinations for 2024. Jeollanam-do will showcase the West Sea Belt, sports activity platform ‘Playground,’ family travel information in collaboration with Geumho Paris Resort, and more. Visitors can also learn about island trips to Incheon and Ganghwa near Seoul, as well as car trips to leisure-rich Eumseong.
