Celebrating its 15th year in Atlanta, One Music Fest is back with joy. The festival takes place on Saturday, Oct. 26–27.
Hosted at Piedmont Park in Atlanta, One Music Fest has evolved from its humble beginnings in the King’s Plow parking lot, with over 100,000 attendees. Founder J. Carter spoke to BLACK ENTERPRISE about 15 years of Black cultural excellence.

Carter envisions OMF staying in Atlanta, estimating that the event brings in around $50 million to the city through tourism and commerce. With a diverse audience from outside Atlanta, the festival continues to feed the city’s economy. I am completely certain about that statement. One Music Fest could not have taken place in any other city besides Atlanta. This city has a unique atmosphere that allows individuals to thrive and pursue their dreams in a safe environment.
