Just a few years ago, London-based comedian Emmanuel Sonubi was performing at open mic nights in Enfield. Now, as the headliner at his local theater after finishing his latest tour, Sonubi invited CNBC Travel to see his favorite places in his hometown before the show.
In a recent episode of Downtime London, Sonubi described Enfield as a typical British town with a great sense of humor and a local atmosphere that sets it apart from tourist destinations.
Despite the rapid gentrification seen in many London neighborhoods, Sonubi appreciates that Enfield has maintained its charm over the years. He believes that the good places in Enfield have remained unchanged.
