The newly opened Daegu Sang Museum, emerging as a new cultural hub in Daegu, is attracting attention with its inaugural exhibition. The exhibition showcases a total of 97 pieces of national treasures and 26 pieces of Sang artifacts, making it the largest exhibition of national treasures and treasures in the history of the Sang Museum. The most recommended works at the exhibition include “Pungaknaesan Chongram,” a piece by Gyeomjae Jeongseon, which depicts the beauty of Geumgangsan in autumn. Another highlight is the “Cheongja Sanggam Unhae Mun Maeyong,” a representative piece of Goryeo celadon, which showcases intricate patterns and elegant shapes. Lastly, Kim Jeong-hee’s “Dae Paenggohoe,” a calligraphy piece written on a luxurious paper, stands out for its powerful and naturalistic strokes. The exhibition also features “Samcheongcheop,” a unique book combining paintings and poems. The Sang Museum, built with a total investment of 44.6 billion won, is located on a 24,000 square meter site adjacent to the Daegu Art Museum.
