New large SUV with overwhelming fuel efficiency, surpasses Palisade, dads thrilled.

Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Toyota Highlander, a special hybrid edition has been released based on the hybrid trim. The limited edition includes new Portobello leather seats and offers exterior color choices of Wind Chill Pearl white and Heavy Metal silver. Despite no mechanical differences from the previous model, the 2025 Highlander Hybrid will come with all-wheel drive as a standard feature. Additionally, silver trims have been added to the front and rear bumpers and side rocker to enhance the design. The new Highlander is set to arrive at US dealerships in November with prices starting at $49,970. However, there is no official announcement yet regarding its release in the domestic market.

The slogan “A bigger world is riding” has caught the attention since its debut last year. Toyota’s midsize SUV, the Highlander, has gained popularity in the US market where large vehicles are preferred. It boasts exceptional durability and marketability, ranking in the top 10 for “cars that can be driven without problems.” Despite being a large SUV, the Highlander breaks the stereotype of low fuel efficiency and difficult driving. It offers a comfortable drive even in busy city streets and boasts an impressive fuel efficiency of 15km per liter. With dimensions of 4,965mm in length, 1,930mm in width, 1,755mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,850mm, it fills the road generously with its large size.

Most imported cars often have complicated button layouts, but the Highlander reduces confusion with its intuitive button placement during driving. Despite its hefty weight of 2 tons, its smooth handling allows drivers to easily adapt. The powertrain is offered in two options: a 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine with a maximum output of 295 horsepower and a maximum torque of 36.3 kgm, and a hybrid version combining a 2.5-liter gasoline engine and a lithium-ion battery for a total output of 246 horsepower, showcasing a more efficient performance alongside an engine that delivers 188 horsepower.

With its spacious size and agile driving performance, the Highlander has recorded significantly higher sales than Hyundai’s Palisade in the North American market.
