The legendary British pop band Oasis, known for hits like “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” has announced their first live tour in 15 years, causing ticket prices to skyrocket online. Resale tickets for their tour have reached over 40 times the original price, prompting Oasis to warn against reselling tickets to prevent scalping. According to reports from The Guardian and BBC, tickets for Oasis’ tour were resold for over 6000 pounds in just a few minutes after pre-sale reservations. The official ticket prices ranged from 73 to 506 pounds per ticket, but soon after pre-sale began, tickets for the first show on July 4 next year were being sold for 916 to 4519 pounds. Oasis has issued a statement warning that unauthorized resale of tickets will be canceled and urging fans to only purchase tickets through authorized platforms like Ticketmaster and Twickets. Established in 1991, Oasis has sold over 90 million records worldwide with numerous hit songs. Despite internal conflicts leading to Noel Gallagher’s departure and Liam Gallagher’s solo career, Oasis announced their reunion on social media on the 27th. Oasis is set to embark on a 30th-anniversary tour in the summer of 2025, with shows planned in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin. The tour will take place in various stadiums from July to August, celebrating the band’s iconic music.
