The era of Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” is coming to an end, with plans for the next phase already announced. After Trevor Noah’s departure, a lineup of comedy legends including Al Franken, Chelsea Handler, D. L. Hughley, Leslie Jones, John Leguizamo, Hasan Minhaj, Kal Penn, Sarah Silverman, Wanda Sykes, and Marlon Wayans will take turns hosting the show starting on January 17th. Additionally, “Daily Show” correspondents and contributors will also have hosting duties. As Trevor Noah’s final week approaches, Paramount Media Networks’ president/CEO Chris McCarthy expressed gratitude for his contributions and excitement for the future with the new hosts and team. Noah’s last show will air this Thursday, with no announcement yet on whether guest hosts will continue indefinitely or if a permanent host will be named soon. “The Daily Show” airs weeknights at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central and is available on Paramount+ the following morning.
