The old warehouse has been transformed into a charming village attraction.

1. From a troublesome abandoned warehouse to a ‘village stone’ (121 Heungnam-dong-ro, Gwangcheon-eup, Hongseong-gun, Chungcheongnam-do)
The ‘Itsu Warehouse’ located in Gwangcheon-eup, Hongseong-gun, has transformed a discarded rice warehouse into a complex cultural startup space. Seven youth enterprises are housed here, producing items and food while also hosting various cultural events for local residents. Itsu Warehouse has attracted over 60,000 visitors in just 3 years, establishing itself as a new hot spot in Hongseong-gun.

2. Linking domestic coffee beans to experiential tourism, miraculous ‘pilgrimage’ of 40,000 people a year at a rural cafe (Gwaeok-ri, Gwaeok-myeon, Goheung-gun, Jeollanam-do)
In the tranquil countryside village of Goheung, ‘Goheung Coffee Street’ has emerged. At Santiago Coffee Farm, people flock to taste ‘K Coffee’ made from 100% domestic coffee beans. Meanwhile, in Miryang, Gyeongsangnam-do, Woo Jung-ho exports domestically grown ‘Chopi’ to Japan, introducing Korean spiciness to the world.

3. “Finding inclusive alternatives”… Deepening ‘Sea of Arts’ (1191 Nakdongnam-ro, Saha-gu, Busan, Busan Museum of Contemporary Art, etc.)
Busan Biennale opened on the 17th with the theme ‘Seeing from Darkness’. This exhibition showcases works by 62 teams from 32 countries, focusing on the flexibility of pirate societies and the inclusivity of Buddhism. Southeast Asian artists are prominently featured, addressing various political and social issues. You can experience the exhibition at Busan Museum of Contemporary Art and 3 other locations until October 20th.
