Toys ‘R’ Us brand might be revived.

Toys “R” Us, the iconic toy store, may be making a comeback. The company closed all of its US stores in June due to bankruptcy. However, the owners of the company’s assets are considering restarting the business. They had planned to auction off the rights to the brand but decided to cancel the auction. The company is now looking into creating a new operating Toys ‘R’ Us and Babies ‘R’ Us branding company. The details of when and how this revival will happen have not been disclosed yet. Other bidders were interested in buying the brand, but their intentions were not clear. Toys “R” Us filed for bankruptcy a year ago and announced the closure of its remaining stores in March, leading to the loss of 31,000 jobs. The 70-year old retailer officially shut down in June.
